Community Cafes
In 2025, we are hosting a series of Community Cafés, each focused on engaging a specific community group.
We are seeking a broad and diverse perspective on future programs and services that ASK might provide for both older adults and caregivers in our new multipurpose 9,000 square foot facility.
Join us as we share insights and discoveries to identify both opportunities and gaps in programming to improve quality of life of older adults, while providing respite to caregivers and families residing in the Arbutus catchment area.

Location: Dogwood Centre - 7405 Paulson St, Vancouver, BC
Group/Audience: Health Care Professionals, Leaders and Service providers in the Older Adult sector.This group includes community health care workers, recreational therapists, case-managers, nurses and staff who work with older adults and understand the complexities of aging, including physical and mental health challenges.

Group/Audience: Caregivers. This group includes those who provide support and care to family, friends, or loved ones of any age who are physically or mentally challenged, chronically ill, or frail.

Group/Audience: Small, Private, Independent Businesses.This group refers to professionals who provide for-profit programs or services to individuals 65+ who are mentally healthy, and residing in Vancouver, BC.
